Aaron, Founder of PurePeak SupplementsOur Amazon Account Audit Method
Our Amazon account audit is built around two levels: bird's-eye and granular. You always start with the account-level view. If something looks off, we go deeper. Every finding connects to a more detailed check underneath it.
Account Level
- How is the overall account performing?
- Am I growing revenue and profit month on month?
- Where am I vs my competitors in this category?
- What is my true profitability after all fees?
- Are there any issues threatening the account?
- What does the next 12 months look like?
Granular View
- Which specific keywords are driving sales vs wasting budget?
- Which ASINs are profitable and which are bleeding margin?
- Which placements are converting and at what cost?
- Which match types are performing and which need cutting?
- Where exactly is the profit leaking from?
- Which search terms are converting and which are wasted?
Reviews From Amazon Sellers

What We Check in an Amazon Account Audit
Every Amazon seller account audit we run covers the same ground, structured across five categories, so nothing gets missed.
P&L Report Check
We map your complete profit and loss, including revenue, Amazon fees, ad spend, refunds and net margin, so you see your true profitability at a glance.
Profit Leak Check
We identify unprofitable ASINs, campaigns, search terms and placements with negative unit economics, high ad spend, low ROAS, or no sales, so you know exactly what to fix.
SKU Level Check
We break down revenue, ad spend, Amazon fees and profit margin at the ASIN level, helping you see your top-performing and underperforming products.
Business Performance Check
We review Amazon's key business metrics, including sessions, units ordered and ordered revenue, to give a clear view of overall account health.
Cross-Campaign Check
We review campaign performance across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, including budget allocation, ROAS and opportunities to reallocate spend.
Placement Check
We break down ad performance by placement, Top of Search, Product Pages and Rest of Search, showing ACOS, ROAS, CTR and conversion rate.
Match Type Check
We analyse exact, phrase and broad match performance to identify profitable search terms, wasted ad spend and negative keyword opportunities.
Negative Targeting Check
We identify search terms with ad spend but no conversions, so wasted budget can be cut and ACOS improved.
SQP Check (Search Query Performance)
We use Amazon's Search Query Performance data to show impressions, clicks, conversions, CTR and conversion rate for your best-performing search terms.
Ranking Check
We review organic keyword rankings for your target terms, showing ranking trends and the impact listing and PPC changes have had.
BSR Check
We review Best Seller Rank movement over time to understand sales momentum and spot issues before they affect revenue.
Click Through Rate Check
We review CTR by ASIN and keyword to identify listings with low click-through rates, flagging where main images or titles need work.
Conversion Rate Check
Analyzes conversion rate by ASIN and traffic source to identify listings with high traffic but low conversions, helping optimize content, A+ Content, pricing, and overall listing performance.
Brand Analytics Check
Analyzes conversion rate by ASIN and traffic source to identify listings with high traffic but low conversions, helping optimize content, A+ Content, pricing, and overall listing performance.
Keyword Research Check
Uses Amazon Brand Analytics to show market basket insights, repeat purchase rate, and customer demographics, helping improve bundling, targeting, and product strategy.
Competitor Analysis Check
We compare your top competitors' revenue, BSR, reviews and advertising strategy to identify market gaps and growth opportunities.
Niche Analysis Check
We review category size, growth rate, market share and share of voice to show where you stand in the competitive landscape.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Is All of This Included as Standard or Does It Cost Extra?
The 18-point checks marked “Standard Audit” are included in every Amazon account audit at no extra cost. Deep Dive checks are added when the standard checks flag something worth investigating further, and Custom checks are built on request.
Do I Need to Log Into Seller Central to See My Data?
No. We connect directly to your account with the access levels you set, and every finding from your Amazon seller account audit is delivered to you in plain language, not raw Seller Central screens.
What Is the Difference Between the Bird’s-Eye and Granular Checks?
The bird’s-eye view answers account-level questions, such as overall performance and true profitability. The granular view goes ASIN by ASIN and keyword by keyword to show exactly where money is being made or lost.
What Is the Profit Leak Check and Why Does It Matter?
It identifies which ASINs, campaigns or search terms are losing money once all fees and ad spend are accounted for. Most sellers only look at revenue and ACOS, which can hide a product that is technically selling well but losing money on every unit.
What Is the SQP Check?
SQP stands for Search Query Performance. It is Amazon’s own data showing impressions, clicks and conversions for the exact search terms buyers used. We use it to find keyword opportunities that standard reports miss.
How Accurate Is the Competitor Analysis?
We pull data directly from public Amazon listings and third-party tracking tools, then cross-check it against your own account data. It will not be perfect to the unit, but it is accurate enough to guide real budget and pricing decisions.
Can I Get an Audit for Multiple Amazon Marketplaces?
Yes. We run a separate Amazon account audit for each marketplace you sell in, including the UK, US and EU, since competition and buyer behaviour differ by region.
Can I Ask for a Custom Check on a Specific Metric?
Yes. If there is a metric that matters to your business and is not part of the standard 18 checks, tell your brand manager and we will build a custom check around it, usually within one working day.
